The original 500 Over 10 event returns to the Bilgola course on Sunday 25 July 2027: 10km, 500m+ vertical, handicapped starts, no GPS to guide you, and the full emotional range of chasing, being chased, blowing up, recovering, and pretending this was a good idea.

Listed below are the official 500 Over 10 events currently locked into the racing calendar. Sometimes a democratic vote changes the date. The Bilgola 500 Pursuit

The original 500 Over 10 event: 10km, 500m+ vertical, reverse handicaps, course creators claiming victory, returning finalists, plus-ones, and an increasingly unnecessary media empire.

Generally run on the last Sunday in July every year, except when democracy wins. See: 2025. Next scheduled race: Sunday 25 July 2027.
